Barry and Stephanie Guinn founded Fat Cat Productions in 2002 as a part-time venture to document weddings. However, demand for the duo’s unique style of cinematography quickly attracted corporate clients and turned full-time. The subjects they filmed expanded to include corporate events, such as meetings, lectures and seminars, as well as training seminars, executive interviews and company documentaries.
Precise attention to detail is a hallmark of Fat Cat’s cinematic work. They are active members of a number of professional organizations, including the Kansas Professional Videographers Association, the Wedding and Event Videographers Association and the Wichita Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2007, Fat Cat Productions received a Finalist Award in the Wedding and Event Videographers Association Creative Excellence Awards international competition for its “Lane-Rogers Love Story.”
